I reckon in my mixes I use 90% REAPER native plug-ins these days. and that's before we even start on the amazing JS range. a noise gate with hysteresis control, oh joy! as many taps as you want AND separate pan controls for each tap? This can't be real, can it? just about the easiest darned noise reduction ever and the most flexible and easily manageable mastering EQ as well as traditional Compressor controls, there's Auto Release, Limit Output, RMS oprions, separate wet/dry output controls, high/low pass filters, etc. ReaComp: As fully featured as you're likely to want. ReaEQ: Unlimited bands,a s many as you want. ![]() ![]() Why? Well apart from simple interface and low CPU load, here in brief are some specific examples: ReaEQ, ReaComp, ReaXComp ReaGate, ReaFir and ReaDelay are all my "go to" effects for those particular functions. ![]() They're on the whole just about as good as any you could pay $000 for.
